About Me

My
Story
I am a full-spectrum Doula supporting individuals and families through the deeply transformative moments of birth, postpartum, and end of life.
I’m a mother of two and like many of you, I know first-hand that parenthood can be both the most beautiful and the most challenging experience. My own births were long—over three days—and deeply humbling. They changed me in ways I couldn’t have anticipated. My identity shifted, my relationships evolved, and I was called to renegotiate how I existed in the world—not once, but with each child. I know that support during this time is essential, I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the 'village'
In my practice, I carry a deep respect for modern medicine, traditional/cultural practices, evidence-based models and trauma-informed approaches to care. My work blends the intuitive wisdom passed down through generations with the best of modern knowledge.
My professional background includes over a decade of experience in counseling and mental health settings, where I supported individuals through complex emotional transitions. I’ve also spent many years engaged in reproductive justice work, advocating for equitable, informed, and ethical care.
During my own birth journey, I had to advocate for myself in moments of pain and vulnerability. I understand the nuances of navigating multiple cultural identities in systems that don’t always see us—and I bring that understanding into every space I hold. My commitment is to creating safe, affirming, and empowering spaces for my clients—where your voice is heard, your choices are respected, and your care is centered around you.
In recent years, I’ve also become intimately familiar with death—through the loss of family members and through witnessing loved ones navigate the process of 'dying wisely.' I’m now at an age where many of the people closest to me are entering that tender phase of life, and it has deepened my understanding of what it means to hold space at the threshold of death with grace, dignity, and presence.
Whether you're preparing to welcome new life, adjusting to the tender postpartum period, or navigating the sacred process of death—I’m here to walk alongside you with presence, gentleness, and strength. I offer not only physical and emotional support, but the deep kind of care that sees you in your wholeness.
This work is more than a calling—it's a reflection of everything I’ve lived, learned, and loved. I would be honoured to support you through your journey.
